Junior Rugby
Our Junior Program is the foundation of our club where we develop the next generation of Canucks. The Canucks Juniors are the next progression from our Minis with more conventional gameplay on full-sized fields and safe introduction to contact.
We want our Juniors to play a safe, skilled and respectful brand of rugby and make the game fun for all. Our goal is to provide enjoyable and impactful experiences on all our teams and ultimately progress players to our Senior programs or other avenues related with rugby.
We offer gameplay for age grades; U13 / U15 / U16 and U18 for boys and girls. There is no prior experience needed to join any teams in our Junior Program. We always ensure our coaches safely progress Junior players to contact gameplay at every age grade.

Still not sure about rugby? In addition to our Juniors Program, we work with Rugby Alberta to host a number of Try Rugby days throughout the year at various locations to provide an easy introduction to the sport for kids ages 6 - 14. Try Rugby days are free, one-hour sessions with certified coaches that teach the basics of rugby through fun games and drills with a BBQ or other fun initiatives to follow.
Be sure to follow our social channels to see when our next “Try Rugby” day will be held.
